How do I fix my audio to be OP59 Complaint using the MediaPro desktop application?

It is a requirement of Free TV that your files are OP59 compliant. You can correct your audio to these standards, within the desktop application.

Click on the file that requires the audio correction, to the right hand side the Audio Controls will display your LKFS reading, and a Fix Audio button.

Red indicates that it is out of OP59 range and needs to be corrected. If it was yellow and between -23 to -25 LKFS this would mean that the audio is acceptable, if it is green and is -24 LKFS this is the perfect setting for the audio and will not be required to be corrected.

If you select Fix Audio, you will be prompted to approve the appropriate fee.

Select your payment type and enter a Purchase Order number, if you don’t have one we recommend using the key number. Click OK and Fixing Audio will commence.

Once complete, your corrected audio reading will display.

The process will also create a .wav file that will be associated with your file in our system. You will see an icon on the file in your inbox indicating that it has been fixed.
